Silver Star Mountain Provincial Park Fuel Reduction Project
Project consisted of clean-up, piling, and burning of logging debris.
- Selective falling of designated trees
- Piling of debris using a midi-excavator
- Burning of debris piles.
Project Objective:
Reduce level of logging waste to provide a defensible area adjacent to homes in the park, should a wildfire occur.
