Project consisted of selective harvesting and piling of waste debris on 7.1ha of steep (100%) terrain in Banff townsite.
- Selective cutting of designated stems
- Pile debris into burning piles, using hand crews and walking excavator
Project Objective:
Modify forest fuel levels to reduce intensity of wildfires that may occur.
